Vissla’s 2024 ADD ART ✦ Board Art Show

Jacob and I had been working on a few boards for the past couple of years in Hawai’i and we figured we’d give it a shot to enter Vissla’s annual board art contest.

The art show was held at Drew and Maria Brophy’s incredible gallery in San Clemente. It was a memorable night celebrating 15 finalists from around the globe. The high caliber of craftsmanship and artistry was at an all time high and the unique styles were truly inspiring. It opened my mind to the infinite possibilities of board art.

Jacob’s artistry shaping the canvas emanates a certain magic which, by creative osmosis, influences the design to the unique shape of the board.
